A lot of Romanby residents are now fully aware of a proposed planning application (from Lovell Homes) that has now been formally re-submitted for a proposed 50-dwelling (was 55) and 73-bed care home development on the old Cricket Club/Arla land, Ainderby Road.

MAINS GAS PIPE REPLACEMENT PROGRAMME IN ROMANBY - BEGINNING IN DECEMBER 2025

We have been advised by Northern Gas Networks UK, that they are undertaking a 16-week rolling replacement of ageing metal gas pipes in Romanby with more durable plastic ones, beginning in December 2025.
